“We are all sexist, bro.” is now live!

The online platform “We are all sexist, bro.” is now live. Its goal is not to point fingers, but to spark self-reflection and conversation—about how we form our opinions, the words we use, and the unconscious biases we carry.

The platform was developed by four young activists from Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, and France as part of the Civic Hackathon organized by the GenderED Coalition Project, held in Perugia, Italy, in September 2024. The event brought together 50 participants from across Europe with a shared mission: to create digital tools that counter misinformation, hate speech, and harmful stereotypes in online spaces.

On the platform https://www.weareallsexistbro.info/, anyone can explore their own attitudes and stereotypes through the interactive module “The Confession Booth.” There, you’ll find a list of common gender-related expressions and beliefs. By selecting the ones you’ve heard, said, or even just thought, you’ll receive reasoned narratives to help you reflect on them—or respond when you encounter them in conversation.

The GenderED Coalition project is a partnership between organizations from Italy, France, Greece, and Bulgaria and is co-funded by the European Union.
