The Bureau for Integration and Social Innovation (BISI), as a partner in the Be Ready project, invites stakeholders to take part in the project’s final international conference, which will take place on 22 April 2026 in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, hosted by the Municipality of Chișinău.
The Be Ready project focuses on strengthening cities’ capacity to address the impacts of climate change, with a particular emphasis on the urban heat island effect and rising temperatures in urban areas. As extreme heat events become more frequent, the need for effective adaptation measures and climate-resilient urban environments is becoming increasingly urgent.
The final conference will bring together representatives of local authorities, experts, researchers, and stakeholders from across Europe. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the project’s key results and findings, as well as practical tools, policies, and solutions for tackling urban heat.
The event will also showcase best practices and real-life examples from cities already implementing climate adaptation measures, while providing a platform for knowledge exchange and the development of new partnerships in the field of sustainable urban development.
